Welcome to my embodied healing journey—a transformation that began with knowledge but deepened through presence, alignment, and feeling.
“You Don’t Manifest What You Want—You Manifest What You Are.” – Bashar
There was a time when I thought I had all the answers.
I had spent years studying nutrition, biochemistry, and functional medicine. I knew how the body worked, how hormones fluctuated, and how food transformed into energy. I knew which pathways supported detoxification, which genes influenced metabolism, and how inflammation created disease.
Yet, something was missing.
Because knowing is not the same as embodying.
I was practicing yoga, but my mind wandered to my to-do list.
I was teaching mind-body connection, but I wasn’t fully present in my own.
I was helping others heal, but I hadn’t yet mastered the art of self-alignment.
It wasn’t until I encountered Human Garage, after months of hesitation, that something clicked.
“There is a difference between knowing it and feeling it.”
This simple truth changed how I approached healing, growth, and consciousness.
The Bridge Between Science and Spirituality
Most people come to me looking for a solution.
🩺 “How do I get rid of my perimenopausal belly fat?”
🛌 “Why am I always exhausted?”
🍽️ “What foods will give me more energy?”
But as the saying goes, sell them what they want, and give them what they need.
Because fatigue isn’t just about diet.
Because hormonal imbalances aren’t just about supplements.
Because healing isn’t just about fixing symptoms—it’s about transforming your relationship with yourself.
Finding my IKIGAI—the intersection of my passions, strengths, and purpose—allowed me to combine the science of functional medicine with the deeper dimensions of personal growth and consciousness.
It gave me the courage to step beyond formulas and protocols, to challenge rigid paradigms, and to explore the unseen forces shaping health and wellbeing.
And that’s where the real transformation happens.
“Flow Is the Secret to Mastery” – Mihály Csíkszentmihályi
For years, I admired people who spoke about the power of the mind.
I read about Dr. David Hawkins’ Scale of Consciousness and how our emotional states vibrate at different frequencies—shame is the lowest, and love and enlightenment are the highest.
I listened to Bashar, absorbing his message that reality is simply a reflection of your internal state.
I intellectually understood the power of alignment, breath, and presence.
But I wasn’t in flow.
As Mihály Csíkszentmihályi describes it, flow is that state of effortless action, where time dissolves, and you are fully immersed in the present moment.
I wanted that.
But my mind was too busy planning, analysing, and controlling.
I would do yoga postures, but I wasn’t feeling my breath.
I would take supplements, but I wasn’t listening to my body’s signals.
I would teach about energy, but I wasn’t allowing myself to surrender to it.
The Carriage, The Driver, and The Master: A Lesson in Alignment
Years ago, my mother gave me a book by Michel Odoul as a gift from a friend.
I took it with me to Egypt in 2020, a holiday filled with warm air, deep reflection, and the quiet whisper of my own awakening.
In the book, Odoul describes the body as a carriage pulled by two horses—one black and one white.
The black horse represents the feminine, intuitive, creative force.
⚪ The white horse represents the masculine, logical, analytical force.
Inside the carriage sits the Master—the Soul—the one who knows where it wants to go.
But there’s a problem.
The Driver—the Brain—is in charge of steering.
🚨 If the Driver gets distracted, the carriage veers off course.
🚨 If one horse dominates the other, the balance is lost.
🚨 If the Driver refuses to listen to the Master, the journey becomes chaotic.
When this misalignment happens, the body sends signals.
💥 A broken wheel = A broken leg.
💥 A shattered window = A message from the Master, screaming to be heard.
💥 A dysfunctional organ = A deeper emotional or spiritual imbalance manifesting in physical form.
This metaphor stayed with me because I realised:
I had been riding the carriage but hadn’t listened to the Master.
Healing Is Integration, Not Quick Fixes
At Human Garage, they had a saying:
“Heal yourself in 15 minutes a day.”
It sounded almost too simple. But the story behind it resonated with me.
They used to run a physical therapy clinic, where people would come in for alignment work, pain relief, and structural corrections.
They would leave feeling great.
But the next week, they would return—back in pain, back out of alignment.
Because when healing happens too fast, the body doesn’t integrate the change.
Because if you remove the pain but don’t change the habits, the pain will return.
Because the body is always communicating—but are we listening?
This was my missing piece.
Healing isn’t about fixing one issue and moving on.
It’s about deep integration—body, mind, and soul.
From Knowing to Feeling: The Path to True Freedom
Consciousness is not something you achieve—it’s something you expand into.
I no longer see functional medicine, nutrition, and spirituality as separate.
They are woven together, forming a path of self-awareness, self-mastery, and ultimate transformation.
🔹 I teach women how to heal their bodies—but more importantly, how to reconnect with themselves.
🔹 I give them the tools to feel energised—but more importantly, the courage to trust their inner wisdom.
🔹 I educate on the science—but more importantly, I guide them toward embodiment.
True transformation is not in the information—it’s in the integration.
And that’s the greatest adventure of all.
Reflection: Where Are You on Your Journey?
1️⃣ Are you riding the carriage—or listening to the Master inside?
2️⃣ Do you intellectually understand growth but struggle to embody it fully?
3️⃣ Have you ever experienced a moment where everything clicked, and you saw reality differently?
