How to prevent urinary infections: My Secret Protocol

Summer is upon us, and unfortunately, so are urinary tract infections (UTIs).

As a functional medicine nutritionist, I’ve discovered a smart way to keep these pesky infections at bay.

Let’s dive into the details:

The Culprit: E. coli Overgrowth 🦠

The main troublemaker behind UTIs is an overgrowth of Escherichia coli (E. coli) bacteria. These little critters can cause discomfort, burning sensations, and frequent trips to the bathroom.

My Clever Combo for Prevention 💡

I’ve developed a two-pronged approach to prevent E. coli overgrowth:

🪴 Phytotherapy: I rely on natural plant-based compounds to maintain a balanced environment in the urinary tract. By doing so, I make it less hospitable for E. coli.

🔬 Probiotic Power (see below): I combine four strains of probiotic bacteria. These friendly microbes act as gatekeepers, preventing E. coli from adhering to the cell lining of both the vagina and the gut. It’s like having tiny bouncers at the entrance, ensuring only the good bacteria get in!
